Garden/Environmental Education at Calabasas
Gardening at Calabasas has been intense, interesting, educational and fun. Concepts from English Language Arts and math have been intergrated into enviornmental and garden science utilizing an extensive garden plot at Calabasas. The facilities include planter boxes, a greenhouse, and an outdoor classroom/learning area. Most classes (grades K-6) have had the opporutnity to work with Doug Cronyn, our teaching scientist/artist through a 6-week learning cycle.
