Language Arts: Learn all alphabet names and sounds; read simple words: cat, dog, pig and 25 high frequency words. Math: Learn number names, and values, write numbers independently; calendar, including today, yesterday and tomorrow; addition, subtraction: 0 - 31. Writing: Stories with a beginning, middle and end; correct letter formation:We always start our letters at the top! . |
| We have just finished studying marine life, culminating in a wonderful trip to the Monterey Bay Aquarium. Thank you to all the many parents able to chaperone! We were also learning words with short i and also the words have, here, and go. In math we have been learning how to add and also have been reviewing number order: 1 - 31. In writing, we are continuing writing using first, next, then, last.
